Explanation

Project: we choose one habitat (desert, forest, ocean, mountains) and 1) list its animals, 2) describe one in detail, 3) draw a picture. Description: “The camel lives in the desert. It has a big hump. It can walk without water for many days. It eats grass and plants.” Game: “What colour is it? Does it have ...? Can it ...? Where does it live?” Review: plurals, can, was/were, the present continuous, numbers, must/mustn’t.

Worked examples
Our habitat is the ocean. Dolphins, sharks and whales live there. A dolphin is grey. It can swim fast and jump high. It eats fish.
— Does it have four legs? — No, it doesn’t. — Can it swim? — Yes, it can. — Where does it live? — In the ocean. — Is it a shark? — Yes, it is!
