Present Simple questions: with I, you, we, they we use do: “Do you play football?” With he, she, it we use does: “Does your friend play football?” Short answers: “Yes, I do. / No, I don’t.” “Yes, he does. / No, she doesn’t.” After does the verb is in the base form: Does he get up at 7? (not gets). Table: Positive: I walk to school. – Question: Do you walk to school? – Answer: Yes, I do. Positive: She plays chess. – Question: Does she play chess? – Answer: No, she doesn’t.
