Textbook: p. 42
GoalTalk about a daily routine; always, usually, often, sometimes, never; the negative.
New words
wake up · uyg‘onmoqget washed · yuvinmoqget dressed · kiyinmoqleave home · uydan chiqmoq
Explanation

Daily routine: wake up, get up, get washed, get dressed, have breakfast, leave home, get to school. With time we use at: “I wake up at 7 o’clock.” How often: always – usually – often – sometimes – never. These words go before the verb: “I always brush my teeth.” Negative: “I don’t usually get up late.” Never is already negative, so we cannot say “I never don’t”: “I never eat breakfast at school.”

Worked examples
I usually wake up at half past six. I get washed and get dressed. I always have breakfast at seven. I leave home at quarter to eight. I never go to school by car.
We often play chess after lessons. They sometimes go home on foot. I don’t usually watch TV in the morning.
Class activity

“How often?”: pupils place daily activities on a line labelled always/often/sometimes/never and explain their choice.
