Textbook: p. 45
GoalSay what you do after school and at the weekend: do the washing, do the shopping, do the ironing.
New words
do the washing · kir yuvmoqdo the shopping · xarid qilmoqdo the ironing · dazmollamoqfall asleep · uxlab qolmoq
Explanation
Chores: do the washing, do the shopping (= go shopping), do the ironing, do my homework. Question: “What do you do after school?” — “After school I play basketball.” With days: “On Saturdays I do the shopping with Dad.” Important: we touch an iron or a cooker only with an adult’s help; a child does not iron alone.
