New words
favourite day · sevimli kunmonth · oygraph · grafikpresentation · taqdimot
Explanation

In a group we ask three questions: “What’s your favourite day of the week?”, “What’s your favourite month?”, “What’s your favourite subject?” We count the answers and draw a graph. Months: January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November, December. Presentation: “Most pupils in our group like Friday because we have PE and music on Friday.” “Our second favourite month is May.” We use ordinal numbers to give the order: first, second, third.

Worked examples
Our group graph: Favourite day: Friday – 4 pupils, Wednesday – 2 pupils. Our first favourite day is Friday because we have music.
Our first favourite month is June: three pupils have birthdays in June. Our second favourite month is September because school starts.
Class activity

“Graph show”: each group puts up its graph and makes a four-sentence presentation. The class asks one question.
