Explanation

Project: a weather forecast. On the map we put cities and symbols (sun, cloud, rain, snow). Model: “Good evening! Here is the weather forecast for Thursday, the fifteenth of April. In Namangan it’s cloudy, 17 degrees. In Karshi it’s sunny and hot. In Tashkent there is a thunderstorm in the evening.” Date: “Thursday, the fifteenth of April”. Review: weather adjectives, temperature, because, feel, parts of the day. In class we read the forecast like a TV presenter.

Worked examples
Today is Friday, the twelfth of May. Here is the weather forecast. In Termez it’s sunny and hot, 36 degrees. In Samarkand it’s cloudy and warm, 24 degrees. In the mountains it’s cool and windy.
Tomorrow in Tashkent it’s rainy in the morning and sunny in the afternoon. The temperature is 18 degrees.
Class activity

“Weather studio”: groups read a forecast with a map and symbols. Roles: presenter, camera, audience.
