Explanation
We describe a fantasy pet: “Our pet is a hedgehog. Its name is Tikan. It has a blue body and six short legs. It has big yellow eyes. It can swim and tell jokes. It likes rock music.” In a description we use It has ... (looks), It can ... (ability), It likes ... (likes). A tongue twister is a sentence that is hard to say fast, for example: “Red lorry, yellow lorry.” We start slowly and then speed up. Review: plurals, baby animals, pronouns, adverbs.
Worked examples
