Explanation
Review. Subjects: handicrafts, botany, geography, literature, history. Time: o’clock, half past, quarter past/to; a.m./p.m. Questions: “Do you ...?” (I, you, we, they) and “Does s/he/it ...?” Regular verbs take -ed (play → played), irregular verbs change in other ways (go → went). Game: groups pick a question card (short words, long words, regular verbs, irregular verbs, “Do you ...?”) and score points for correct answers.
Worked examples
Short words: map, art, PE. Long words: geography, literature, handicrafts. Regular verbs: clean, help, stay. Irregular verbs: go, eat, take.
Question card 200: Make a question with does. Answer: Does she like geography? Question card 300: Tell the time 4.45. Answer: It’s quarter to five.
Class activity
“Language expert”: two teams, cards worth 100–300 points. A team picks a topic and scores if it answers correctly.
