Simple and compound pronouns and their spelling

Textbook: pp. 37–38
GoalKnow the spelling of simple and compound pronouns.
New words
spelling · imlois written joined · qo‘shib yoziladiis written separately · ajratib yoziladiroot pronoun · tub olmosh
Explanation

The parts of simple pronouns are written joined: kimdir, allaqanday, qaysidir, hamma. This rule also covers derived simple pronouns: in indefinite pronouns alla- and -dir are joined to the base. The parts of compound pronouns are written separately: hech kim, hech qachon, har bir, har kim, mana shu, ana o‘sha. So writing “hechkim” joined, or “manashu”, is a mistake. To avoid spelling mistakes, first find out how many bases the pronoun has.

Worked examples
Hech qachon, har bir, ana shu are written separately.
Kimdir, allanima, hamma are written joined.
