Meaning types of modal words

Explanation

By meaning, modal words fall into several groups. Certainty: albatta, shubhasiz, shaksiz. Confirmation: darhaqiqat, haqiqatan. Supposition: ehtimol, chamasi, aftidan, shekilli. Regret: afsuski, attang (this word is also found as an interjection). Joy: xayriyat, yaxshiyamki. Order of thoughts: avvalo, avvalambor; giving an example: masalan, jumladan; conclusion: xullas, demak. Which group a modal word belongs to is decided by the overall meaning of the sentence.

Worked examples
Shubhasiz, bu jamoa g‘olib bo‘ladi (Undoubtedly, this team will win) — certainty.
Avvalo, qo‘lingizni yuving (First of all, wash your hands); xullas, tozalik — salomatlik (in short, cleanliness is health) — order and conclusion.
