Explanation
Ingredients for palov: rice, oil, carrots, meat, onions, water, salt. Steps: “Wash the rice. Cut the carrots and onions. Fry the meat. Add the carrots and water. Finally add the rice.” There are different legends about the origin of palov: in one a great commander wanted to feed his soldiers; in another a doctor made it for a sick man. Legends are told in the past: “The cook took rice, oil, carrots and meat and made a tasty meal.” Uzbek palov culture was added to the UNESCO list of intangible cultural heritage in 2016. Question: “Can you cook palov?” — “Yes, I can.”
