New words
I was · edimyou were · edingizyesterday · kechayesterday morning · kecha tong
Explanation

The past of the verb “to be”: I was, he/she/it was, you/we/they were. Present am/is/are → past was/were. Question: “Where were you yesterday morning?” Answer: “I was in the kitchen.” About another person: “Where was Bobur? He was in the garage.” Time words: yesterday, yesterday morning / afternoon / evening, last night. Plurals: “We were in the attic.” “They were on the stairs.” Careful: “was” is for one person or thing (and I); “were” is for you, we, they.
