Explanation

“How often …?” asks about frequency. Question: “How often do you have fruit for breakfast?” (do + subject + have). About another person: “How often does she have fruit?” (does + she + have, not has!). Answers can be short or full: “Every day.” / “I have fruit for breakfast every day.” / “She has fruit for breakfast every day.” “Every day” is two words; “everyday” is a different word (ordinary). Short answers: Every day. Usually. Sometimes. Never.

Class activity

“Class survey”: children ask classmates “How often do you have … for lunch?” and mark the answers on a chart (always/usually/sometimes/never).
