Explanation

The value: be clean around food. Wash your hands with soap for 20 seconds before eating and after the toilet, keep food covered, and wash fruit and vegetables. Shopping: “How much is the tea?” – “It’s two thousand sum.” Plurals: “How much are the pears?” – “They’re five thousand sum.” Asking: “Can I have four pears, please?” – “Yes, of course.” We use is for one thing and are for many. Sound: “ar” – car, park, star, farm.

How much is the yogurt? It’s four thousand sum. Can I have two, please?
How much are the apples? They’re six thousand sum.
Class activity

“Shop”: set up a small shop. Roles of seller and buyer: “How much are the bananas? Can I have five, please?” Use play money.
