Describing people and seasons

Textbook: Part 4, topic 27, pp. 72–79
GoalDescribe a person and the seasons of the year.
New words
trait · xislatseason · faslhabit · odatappearance · tashqi ko‘rinish
Explanation

When we describe a person we tell their appearance, their good habits and what they like. It is polite to speak only about good qualities. When we describe a season we say what nature is like, what animals do, what people eat and what games they play.

Worked examples
“Winter”. Winter is a cold season. The trees are bare and the ground is covered with snow. Bears go to sleep. Children sledge and build snowmen. We wear warm clothes. The New Year holiday is celebrated in winter.
