Explanation

Telling about something or someone so that others can picture it is called describing (ta’riflash). When we describe an object we tell its appearance (colour, shape, size), what it is made of and what it is for. Feature words are very useful for describing.

Worked examples
“My bag”. My bag is rectangular and yellow. It is sewn from fabric. It has two pockets. My bag is light but roomy. I put my books and notebooks in it.
Questions: What shape? What colour? What is it made of? What is it for?
