If more than one person does the action, the action word answers Nima qildilar? Nima qilyaptilar? Nima qiladilar? The word ends in -lar: yozdilar (wrote), yozyaptilar (are writing), yozadilar (write). Here the word Bolalar (children) answers Kimlar?.
