15/15 weeks ready · Follows the order of the Egyptian Ministry of Education and Technical Education textbook Mathematics, Second Preparatory (Grade 8), Term 1 (four units, seventeen lessons; English and Arabic editions). All explanations, exercises and quizzes are Darslab’s own.

Term 1Unit 1 Numbers and their operations: real numbers (irrational numbers, estimating roots), intervals and their operations, operations on real numbers, laws of square and cube roots, laws of exponents; Unit 2 Algebra: factorising (common factor, trinomials, special cases, grouping and completing the square); Unit 3 Geometry: congruence, Pythagoras’ theorem and its converse, parallel lines and the midsegment, medians, the isosceles triangle, interior and exterior angles of polygons; Unit 4 Statistics: ascending cumulative frequency tables and curves, mean, median and mode of a grouped frequency table
