Worked examples
“My English year”. This year I learned a lot of English. Every day I read and speak a little. Last week I was reading about animals when my friend phoned. We talked for ten minutes. I can write letters and describe my house now. In my opinion, the best thing in English is that I can talk to children in other countries! I should practise every day, and I would like to visit England one day.
I can say what I do every day. I can say what I did yesterday. I can compare things. I can give advice.
Class activity

Why should we practise a language every day?
Repeating and using it is the best way to learn a language.
