I always have vegetables for dinner. She never has coffee.

Textbook: p. 61
GoalFrequency words: always, usually, sometimes, never – “I always have vegetables for dinner. She never has coffee.”
New words
always · doimusually · odatdasometimes · ba’zannever · hech qachon
Explanation

Words that say how often something happens: always (100 %), usually (most of the time), sometimes (not often), never (0 %). They go BEFORE the main verb: “I always have breakfast.” With he/she we use “has”: “She usually has tea.” “Never” already means “not”, so we do not add “don’t”: “I never have coffee” is correct; “I don’t never have coffee” is wrong. We say “for breakfast / lunch / dinner”.

Worked examples
We always have soup for lunch. He sometimes has pizza for dinner.
My brother never has nuts because he doesn’t like them.
Class activity

“My habits”: each child writes four sentences (always, usually, sometimes, never). A partner reads them and asks “True or false?”
