What does he look like? He’s tall. He has blue eyes.

Textbook: p. 7
GoalAsk “What does he/she look like?” and answer “He’s tall. She has blue eyes.”
New words
What does he/she look like? · qanday ko‘rinadi?tall · novchashort · pastak (kalta)eyes · ko‘zlari
Explanation

“What does he look like?” asks how a person looks. There are two kinds of answer. First: “He’s tall” or “She’s short” – height, with the verb be. Second: “He has blue eyes” or “She has long hair” – what the person has, with the verb have. With he/she we use “has”; with I/we/they we use “have”: “I have brown eyes.” The question is built with “does”, so “look” does not change.

Worked examples
What does your cousin look like? He’s tall and he has short curly hair.
My teacher is short. She has dark eyes and straight hair.
Class activity
