Writing a presentation text

Explanation
To write a presentation text we find answers to questions: What is the object called? In which sport is it used? What are its shape and colour? What is it made of? How is it used? If we write the answers as sentences one after another, the presentation text is ready. We add a greeting at the beginning and thanks at the end.

“Swimming goggles”. Dear listeners! I will tell you about swimming goggles. They are needed by swimmers. The goggles are made of plastic and rubber. They are worn on the head and protect the eyes from water. Thank you for your attention!
Questions: name — goggles; sport — swimming; made of — plastic and rubber; job — protecting the eyes.
Class activity
“Team presentation”: the class splits into two teams. Each team picks a piece of sports equipment, draws it on big paper and writes the presentation text. The clearest and most interesting presentation wins.
