Explanation
A wall newspaper is a big sheet hung on the school wall. It has a name, interesting news items, notices, pictures and news. When we write a news item we say briefly and exactly who, what, when and where. To make the newspaper beautiful we write without mistakes and draw pictures.
Worked examples
Notice: Tomorrow at 10 o’clock there will be a book exhibition in the school library. Everyone is invited.
News item: Grade 2 pupils planted flower seedlings in the school yard.
