Explanation
In a sentence the kind of animal is written with a small letter and its given name with a capital: “Buzoqni Mosh deb atadik.” (We called the calf Mosh.) Here buzoq is the kind of animal and Mosh is its name. An animal’s name, like a person’s name, points out one particular creature.
Worked examples

Class activity
“Names on the farm”: the class makes a “farm”. Each child names their animal and says a sentence: “Sigirimning nomi ...”. In the sentences written on the board, the names are underlined.
