Объяснение
In complex numerals («пятьдесят, шестьдесят, двести, пятьсот») both parts decline: «пятьдесят — пятидесяти — пятьюдесятью — о пятидесяти», «двести — двухсот — двумстам — двумястами». «Сорок, девяносто, сто» have only two forms: «сорок — сорока», «девяносто — девяноста», «сто — ста». In compound numerals every word declines: «о двадцати пяти учениках», «с тремястами сорока книгами». In compound ordinal numerals only the last word declines: «в две тысячи двадцать пятом году». Gradation is a row of words whose meaning grows stronger or weaker step by step: «Ветер усилился, окреп, превратился в ураган».
Примеры
«Мы прошли около восьмидесяти километров». «Восемьдесят» is a complex numeral; genitive: «восьмидесяти» (both parts changed).
«Мы работали с двумястами добровольцами». Gradation: «Огонь горел, тлел, угасал» — descending.
Работа в классе
“Decline the number”. A pupil names a number on a card; another gives the form in the case requested.
