Объяснение

Manner answers «как?» and is expressed by an adverb, preposition + noun, adverbial participle or comparison. Clauses of manner are built with «так, как; так, что; так, словно». Place and clauses of place use «где, куда, откуда» with «там, туда, оттуда». The comparative is formed with «-ее, -е, -ше» or «более», the superlative with «-ейш-» or «самый». Subordinate clauses and adverbial participle phrases are set off by commas. To prepare for the assessment, try to use these rules in a single text.

Примеры
Together: «Туристы шли туда, где начинался парк, и пели, улыбаясь. Это был самый весёлый поход».
Comparative: «Он говорил тише, чем брат, но так, что все слышали».
Работа в классе

“Build a text”. A group writes a 4-sentence text with one example each of manner, place, comparative and superlative.

Упражнения
1
Complete: «Он остановился там, … начиналась тропа».
2
Put in the superlative: «Это (высокий) здание города».
3
Rewrite with an adverbial participle: «Он шёл и напевал».
4
Why does «Она пела так словно забыла обо всём» need a comma?
