Explanation

The test essay is written in class under the teacher’s supervision; no sources may be used. First the topic and epigraph are chosen, the plan is made, then a draft is written. While writing, each paragraph should develop one thought, thoughts must connect coherently and the text must not leave the topic. When finished it should be checked for spelling, punctuation and word use. In the analysis lesson the mistakes in the marked work are sorted into spelling, punctuation and style types, each is written in the correct form and its cause is found.

Worked examples
Checklist: 1) there is a plan, 2) one thought per paragraph, 3) there is a conclusion, 4) spelling and punctuation checked.
