Explanation

The attribute is a secondary part linked to a part expressed by a noun, showing its feature or to whom or what it belongs; the part it explains is called the aniqlanmish. The attribute answers the questions what kind? which? which in order? how many? whose? It has three kinds. A descriptive attribute shows a feature such as colour, size or quality, attaches to the aniqlanmish by juxtaposition (bitishuv) and is expressed by an adjective, numeral, participle, pronoun, noun or imitative word (“yangi kitob”). A possessive attribute shows belonging and is linked to the aniqlanmish by agreement (moslashuv) (“do‘stimning uyi”). An appositive attribute also names a person or thing by another name such as profession, title or kinship (“muallim Karimov”, “Hamida opa”).
