Adverbs of manner
Adverbs showing in what state or manner an action is done, and answering qanday? qay holda? qay tarzda?, are adverbs of manner. They include jim (silently), yayov and piyoda (on foot), chindan (truly), qo‘qqisdan and to‘satdan (suddenly), tasodifan (by chance), astoydil (wholeheartedly), eskicha (in the old way), qatorasiga (in a row), birma-bir (one by one), yakkama-yakka (one on one), yonma-yon (side by side), bafurja (at leisure), arang and zo‘rg‘a (barely), mardlarcha (like the brave). Many are derived: tasodifan, eskicha, mardlarcha. Paired and repeated adverbs of manner take a hyphen: birma-bir, yakkama-yakka, yonma-yon. In a sentence an adverb of manner usually works as an adverbial and defines the verb.
“How?”: choose five adverbs of manner for one verb (yurdi) and make sentences.
