Explanation
By the attribute they express, adjectives fall into six groups. Property adjectives name varied properties and states: mehribon (kind), dono (wise), tez (fast). Color adjectives: qizil, oq, yashil. Taste adjectives: shirin (sweet), achchiq (bitter or hot), nordon (sour). Size and measure adjectives name volume, weight, measure and shape: katta (big), og‘ir (heavy), uzun (long), yumaloq (round). Smell adjectives show smell: xushbo‘y (fragrant), badbo‘y (foul-smelling). Place and time adjectives relate the attribute to place or time: uzoq (far), yaqin (near), yangi (new), eski (old).
