Explanation
The noun is the word class that names and denotes persons, things and places and answers the questions “who?”, “what?”, “where?”. “Who?” is asked of words naming persons, “what?” of words naming things and activities-processes, “where?” of words naming places. Accordingly nouns divide into nouns for persons (o‘qituvchi, Salima), things (daftar, olma), activities-processes (ishlash, o‘qish, terim) and places (maktab, Toshkent, bog‘). In a sentence a noun is often a subject, object, modifier or predicate, and it takes plural, possessive and case suffixes.
