GoalIdentify and use adverbs of quantity and degree.
New words
adverb of quantity-degree · miqdor-daraja ravishirather · anchaa little · sal
Explanation
Adverbs showing the quantity or degree with which an action or state occurs and answering qancha? are adverbs of quantity-degree. They include sal, picha, xiyol (a little), oz (little), ko‘p (much), kam (little), ancha (rather): ko‘p o‘qidi (read a lot), oz gapirdi (spoke little), ancha charchadi (got rather tired), sal kutdi (waited a little). Such adverbs also join adjectives and other adverbs to show their degree: ancha chiroyli (rather beautiful), juda tez (very fast). In a sentence they work as an adverbial of degree. The word ko‘p works as an adjective if it joins a noun and as an adverb if it joins a verb.
