Collective numerals and their formation

Textbook: p. 167
GoalForm and write collective numerals.
New words
collective numeral · jamlovchi son-ov (all of the) · -ov-ala (both, all) · -ala
Explanation

Numerals that gather a quantity are collective numerals. They are made with -ov, -ala, -ovlon: ikkov, ikkala, ikkovlon (both); uchov, uchala (all three); beshov, beshala (all five). These suffixes are added only to numbers from two to ten. When added to a numeral ending in a vowel, the stem’s final i drops: ikki+ov = ikkov, olti+ala = oltala. A collective numeral can stand in place of a noun: Ikkala o‘rtog‘im keldi (Both my friends came), Uchovimiz bordik (All three of us went). The suffixes are joined to the stem.

Worked examples
Both my friends came.
All five of us set out on a trip.
