Explanation

Adjectives naming varied properties and states are property adjectives: mehribon (kind), dono (wise), tez (fast), yumshoq (soft), qattiq (hard), toza (clean). Adjectives naming volume, weight, measure and shape are size-measure adjectives: katta (big), kichik (small), og‘ir (heavy), yengil (light), uzun (long), keng (wide), yumaloq (round). Adjectives relating an attribute to place or time are place-time adjectives: uzoq (far), yaqin (near), ichki (inner), tashqi (outer), yangi (new), eski (old), ertangi (tomorrow’s). Most of these are qualitative and take degree forms: kattaroq, juda uzun. Among place-time adjectives there are relational ones with -gi: ichki, ertangi.
