Explanation
Common compound nouns of two or more stems are always written joined: qorbo‘ron (snowstorm), qizilishton (woodpecker), ko‘ksulton (a bird), kungaboqar (sunflower), o‘rinbosar (deputy), yeryong‘oq (peanut), asalari (bee). Proper nouns whose second part is a common noun are also joined: Beshariq, Qorqiz, Qashqadaryo. Compound nouns whose second part is a proper noun are written separately, each word with a capital: Markaziy Osiyo (Central Asia), Quyi Chirchiq, O‘rta Chirchiq. Test: in Sirdaryo the second part daryo is a common noun, so joined; in Quyi Chirchiq the second part Chirchiq is a proper noun, so separate.
