New words
section · bo‘limfresh · yangi, tozatasty · mazaliplan · reja
Explanation
Project: each group draws and presents the plan of its own supermarket. Say what is in every section with There is/There are and some/a lot of: “In the bakery there is some bread and there are a lot of cakes.” For advertising use the superlative: fresh – the freshest, tasty – the tastiest (-y → -iest), cheap – the cheapest, big – the biggest. The comes before a superlative. Presentation: “Come to our supermarket! In the fruit and veg section you can find the freshest vegetables.” We also review the whole unit: prices, advice, shapes.
Worked examples
“Come to Fresh Day!”. Come to our supermarket Fresh Day! We have five sections. In the fruit and veg section you can find the freshest tomatoes in town. In the dairy section there is the tastiest yogurt. In the bakery there are a lot of warm cakes and some hot bread. Our prices are the cheapest! Don’t forget: you should eat fruit every day.
— How much does the bread cost? — It costs 2,000 soums. — I’d like two loaves, please.
