Project: make a geographical quiz with 10 questions. Question types: “What is the capital of …?” “Where is the river …?” “Which mountains are higher: … or …?” “How long is …?” “How high is …?” “What is the population of …?” “What are the big cities in …?” Answers: “The capital of Wales is Cardiff.” “The Murray is in Australia.” Take information from a table: Uzbekistan, the UK, the USA, Australia, New Zealand. Comparing: bigger than, longer than, higher than; superlatives: the longest, the highest. Check facts in a book or on a map. Presentation: groups ask in turns and collect points.
