Explanation

Orfografiya teaches the correct writing of words. Main rules: 1) a capital letter is used at the sentence start and in proper nouns; 2) compound words are written together, separately or with a hyphen; 3) words are divided by syllable, and one letter is not left on a line; 4) the spelling rules for stems and suffixes are followed (taroq, yaprog‘i, ketdi); 5) the apostrophe (’) is written in words like e’lon, ma’no. Check doubtful words in the spelling dictionary.

Worked examples
Tashkent is the capital of Uzbekistan.
Ma’no, e’lon, she’r contain the apostrophe sign.
