Use of the exclamation mark
The exclamation mark is placed at the end of sentences said with emotion (joy, wonder, fear, anger): «Qanday chiroyli bahor!» It also follows interjections that equal a sentence: «Voy!», «Ura!». It is also written after an addressee word said with special emphasis: «Do‘stlar! Bugun bayram.» To show very strong emotion, three exclamation marks (!!!) are used. After a question said with strong emotion that expects no answer, the question and exclamation marks are written together: «Bunga kim ishonadi?!» (Who would believe this?!) A statement or command also becomes exclamatory with strong intonation or an interjection: Eh, bahor keldi!
“Emotion game”: the teacher names a feeling (joy, fear, wonder); you make a fitting sentence and add the right mark.
