Explanation

People communicate with each other through language, so language is called a tool of communication. Language does not exist without society: it appears and develops among people, which is why it is considered a social phenomenon. With the help of language we think, pass our thoughts to others and understand theirs. The creator of language is the people: over centuries generations polish it and make it fluent and beautiful. Alisher Navoi’s saying «Tilga e’tibor — elga e’tibor» (respect for language is respect for the people) reminds us that valuing our mother tongue means valuing the nation.
