Explanation

Where is a period placed? 1) At the end of statement sentences and, often, command sentences; 2) after a short sentence naming a thing or event; 3) after Arabic numerals showing order (1. 2. 3.). Where is a comma placed? 1) between homogeneous parts listed one after another; 2) after interjections; 3) after a word addressing someone (undalma); 4) between repeated words; 5) on both sides of words showing the speaker’s attitude to the thought. For example: «Bozordan olma, nok, uzum oldik.» — the homogeneous parts are separated by commas.
