Explanation

The numeral shows the quantity or order of an object and answers qancha?, nechta?, nechanchi? (how many? which in order?): o‘n (ten), yigirma besh (twenty-five), uchinchi (third). Suffixes such as -ta, -tacha, -lab, -tadan are added to numerals: beshta (five items), yuzlab (hundreds of), ikkitadan (two each). The pronoun is the word class used in place of a noun, adjective or numeral. There are personal pronouns (men, sen, u, biz, siz, ular), demonstrative pronouns (bu, shu, u, o‘sha) and interrogative pronouns (kim, nima, qaysi). The pronoun avoids repetition: «Sardor keldi. U darsga tayyor edi» (Sardor came. He was ready for the lesson).
