Explanation

Let us recall the cases written with a capital letter. 1. A person’s first name, patronymic, surname and pen name are written with a capital letter: Hamid Olimjon, Zulfiya, Oybek. 2. Names of countries, regions, cities, districts, rivers and mountains begin with a capital letter: Qozog‘iston, Surxondaryo, Termiz, Chilonzor. 3. In names of holidays and important dates the first word is capitalized: Bilimlar kuni (Knowledge Day), Konstitutsiya kuni (Constitution Day), Qurbon hayiti (Eid al-Adha). 4. Every sentence begins with a capital letter. Names of books, newspapers and magazines are put in quotation marks, and their first word is capitalized.

Worked examples
Alisher Navoiy, Samarqand, Navro‘z bayrami — with capitals.
