Review test
In chapter one we learned safety rules, the science of informatics, kinds and quality of information, coding, and the units bit and byte (1 byte = 8 bits, 1 KB = 1024 bytes). In chapter two we met the main devices of a computer (system unit, monitor, keyboard, mouse), additional devices and ten-finger typing. In chapter three we learned about programs, the operating system, files, folders, extensions and paths. In chapter four we typed, edited and formatted text in Word, and added pictures, tables, WordArt and a title page. In chapter five we drew in a graphics editor, added text, selected areas, used layers and edited photos. In chapter six we built algorithms, sprites, stages, animations, costumes, sounds, shapes and cartoons in Scratch. In every chapter the safety rule stays the same: never tell anyone your password, give no personal details to strangers, and tell an adult about anything suspicious.
“Knowledge relay”: two teams take turns answering the teacher’s questions from every chapter (coding, file paths, key combinations, Scratch blocks), scoring a point for each correct answer.
