GoalA test by essay and error analysis; Aesop’s fable “The Lion and the Mouse”.
New words
essay · inshoepigraph · epigrafrough draft · xomaki nusxastylistic clumsiness · uslubiy g‘alizlik
Explanation

In the test the pupil chooses one of the given topics and writes an essay: first an epigraph fitting the topic is chosen, a plan made and a rough draft written, then enriched with wise sayings and proverbs and a clean copy made. In the analysis an error list is compiled: spelling (checked in the dictionary), punctuation and stylistic (clumsy sentences are rewritten). In Aesop’s fable “The Lion and the Mouse” the lion releases the little mouse, and later the mouse frees him from the hunters’ trap. The fable shows that even the strongest sometimes need the help of the weak.

Worked examples
Epigraph: for the topic “Hunar — zar”, the proverb “Hunari bor odamning yuzi yorug‘” fits.
Clumsy sentence: “Kitob o‘qish juda foydali va foydadir” → “Kitob o‘qish juda foydali.”
