Explanation

Numerals show the amount or the order of things. They fall into two groups: cardinal (quantity) numerals and ordinal numerals. Quantity numerals divide further by the kind of quantity into six: counting (besh), piece (beshta), approximate (beshtacha, o‘nlab), distributive (beshtadan), collective (beshov) and fractional (beshdan bir). Ordinal numerals show sequence: beshinchi. Each kind has its own suffix and question. In the next lessons we study them one by one.

Worked examples
Besh, beshta, beshtadan, beshov are quantity numerals.
Beshinchi is an ordinal numeral.
Class activity

“Table”: make all types from one number (e.g. uch) and write them in a table: uch, uchta, uchtacha, uchtadan, uchov, uchdan bir, uchinchi.
