Explanation
Subjects such as history, literature and upbringing, which study people, society and culture, are called social and humanitarian sciences. Terms of history: saltanat (state), karvon (caravan), rabot (caravanserai), sardoba (a structure storing water), madrasa. Terms of literature: hikoya (story), ertak (fairy tale), qissa (novella), doston (epic poem), she’r (poem); misra is one line of a poem, band is a part of several lines, qahramon is the main character of a work. Terms of geography: xarita, materik, iqlim, okean. Each subject has its own terms; knowing them helps to master it.
Worked examples
Each line of a poem is a misra; a part of four lines is a to‘rtlik (quatrain).
Materik is a large land mass of the Earth.
