Объяснение
Do not mix up -ni (accusative) and -ning (possessive): bolani – Kimni? (joins to a verb), bolaning – Kimning? (joins to a noun). -ni is also added to nouns with possessive suffixes: kitobim – kitobimni, kitobing – kitobingni, kitobi – kitobini. Sometimes, when we speak about something not specific, -ni is dropped: Dadam gazeta o‘qiydi (My dad reads a newspaper).
Примеры
Men kitobimni o‘qidim. (I read my book.) Sen daftaringni berding. (You gave your notebook.) U qalamini topdi. (He/she found his/her pencil.)
Bolani chaqirdi (called the child) – Kimni? (accusative). Bolaning kitobi (the child’s book) – Kimning? (possessive).
Работа в классе
“-ni or -ning?”: the teacher reads a sentence; children say whether it is accusative or possessive and ask the question.
