Explanation

Two documents are used in career guidance. The career counselling sheet collects information about the student from different sources: a medical note (the doctor’s recommendation), a parents’ note (which occupation they recommend, the child’s free-time activity and clubs), the labour-education teacher’s note (attitude to work, discipline, following safety rules), the opinions of the physical education, music, art and other subject teachers and the club leader, then the conclusion of the class head and school management. The career choice sheet is filled in by the student: name and year of birth, who they want to become and why, interests and inclinations (liked and disliked subjects, free time, books read, clubs), personal features (observation, endurance), the kind of work they prefer, the occupation and education route, parents’ opinion, back-up occupations and future plan. The sheet must be filled in honestly and thoughtfully: it is not meant to torment the student but to help them find the right path. Information about health is personal: share it only with yourself, your parents and the doctor; it is not discussed publicly in class.

Worked examples
The “Interests and inclinations” section of the sheet: “Subjects I like — physics, technical drawing. In free time — making models (with adults). I read 7 books this year. I attend a technical club.” This is a clear, honest entry.
The “back-up occupations” line: 1) mechanical technologist, 2) design draughtsperson, 3) master carpenter. The three are close to each other, so a switch is easy even if the main route closes.
Class activity

Practising the sheet: each student fills in the interests and inclinations, features, chosen occupation and back-up sections in the notebook. The health part is not written; it is discussed only with parents and the doctor.
