Business papers: the invitation

Explanation

A taklifnoma is formed from Arabic taklif and Persian noma; it is a letter calling someone to an event. Structure: 1) address; 2) reason; 3) time and place of the event; 4) words of respect; 5) the inviter’s signature. The tone must be polite: orders, threats and rude words are not used. Sample: «Dear Sardor! We invite you to our school’s spring festival on 20 May at 16:00. We will be glad of your participation. With respect, pupils of class 5-«B».» Note: tell an adult before inviting outsiders to your home.
